Why do I want to be a Christian Counselor?

James 5:12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

Well.. I was in college during my third year and I was majoring in English. I did not do good in those classes none the less I confused a passion for reading for the mistake of a love for something. Yes, there are two different meanings. Over that summer I prayed for GOD to show me what needed to be in my life. And, if I will give my ex boyfriend of three years any props or kudos I will give him this. He said, "All your life you have given people advice or been a mentor any some kind of program." "You would be a great counselor, it will be alot of work but I can see you doing that." So, I was like what kind of degree would I need. The degree my school offers is a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Sociology and then you go into and get a Masters from them in Clinical and Mental Counseling. That is what I plan on doing, right now I am taking a class every semester till I get to go back in the fall at my old school so I could get my GPA up and finish what I need to do here. Here recently I got to thinking and researching about the Masters my school offers and to additon to the mental and clinical counseling they have School Psychology and it is only a semester longer so why not get both? Intresting huh? So, I am thinking about getting a double Bachelors, a double Masters, maybe one day a double Doctrine? Now, I have a few people about this dream I have of my dream clinic so I am going to share it with you.....

H.E.L.P Clinic (Having Everyday Love Possible)- See the HELP in there.

It will be house, like me and you live in and the living room would be a waitting room and there will be a kitchen and in the dining room area it would be a table and chairs and food in the fridge. There will be a televison in the waitting room with actually good stuff on. My reposents will have a bowel of quotes, scriptures, and hymn lines in there you must take one. It could make your day :). There will be the master bedroom which will be my office. It will be nice and comfy no lay down on the couch and how does that make you feel stuff. You tell me from your heart. There will be an extra bedroom which would consit of a queen size bed, big enough for anyone. It would also have a baby bed and all the things for a baby: changing table, diapers, wipes, toys for all ages. The reason for the room? Because what if someone is being abused, or neglected they will always have a home here. They get to be taken of. Their safe here. Why a house? Because no one I do not think NO ONE wants be forced to go to a clinic where they do not know anyone. There will be a third bedroom just in case the client who is going through a tough time needs someone there with them. Either me or an older child. I would not mind it all being there for you or any of my clients. When I get my Masters and a steady job I will work on this as soon as GOD puts that chance in my hands. I strive for the better tomorrow not just for me but for the lives of everyone in my life.
I feel so blessed because I get to share my dream or dreams with you guys. You guys have been such wonderful blessings. I love you and Keep Smiling.
