Hello one and all to my blog! My name is Lindsey Denise Martin and I am 24 years old. I live in a very small town of about five thousand people. I live at home with my mom, my younger sister- when she is home for the weekends and holidays, and a cat named Salem. I am currently unemployed which I dislike with a passion and a student. I am in school studying to be a Christian Counselor, I want to be make a difference in the lives of people by sharing GOD's word and love. My father passed away January 25, 2005 of a massive heart attack. He was a wonderful man, I am not just saying that because he was my father I am saying because he was a light to everyone. He spoke to people he did not know, he laughed even though he was hurting, and he was never afraid to go that extra mile. I guess that is where I get my love for people and the well-being of others. I am not very tall I stand at five foot four inches and weigh way too much than I should. I have medium length black hair and big dark blue eyes. There is nearly always a smile on face unless things are not going to planned. I suffer from a disease called hypoglycemia. For those who do not know what that is it simply means low glucose concentration in the blood. Believe me its not fun. I have to watch how much sweet I eat and I need to eat ever four hours. I am an addict (yes I will admit it) to Diet Coke and Diet Dr Pepper. I am told I am a city girl, I did not know how to make deer steak until a friend of mine showed me how and nearly passed out over the blood. I guess GOD did not want to be a nurse or doctor huh? I love to laugh! Laughing is the cure for pretty much everything. I do not smoke, makes my head hurt. My favorite colors would have to be pink, green, and ruby red. My favorite bible verse is Joshua 1:9 - Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.(KJV). I love to read, okay love might be a little to light. I read alot, mostly fiction but I have recently gotten into the kick of biographies. I do not do romances novels, sorry you guys. I have about a one thousand books and yes I have read nearly all of them. I will post a reading list later of books I plan on reading it will consit of fifty or so books. My best friends name is Meredith and Robbie, we have been each others rocks for awhile now. I enjoying writing, I always have. Either it be novels, plays, or poems. Im pretty much an open book. Like I meationed I am a Christian and I wish to share a few Bible verses that give me some comfort to know that GOD is always with us and no matter the situation we should always turn to the Bible for answers and not that of the common man's answers.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."Deuteronomy 31:6

Facebook. Myspace. Twitter. Youtube. All these places have followers, members, subscribers, and fans of. But whatever happend to be a fan or such of Christ. I understand we all have a freedom of speech, of religon, and a freedom of choice - I chose to stand for Christ. I have gotten a few emails from people, random people who ask me why on earth do I do bible verses as my status messages. I DON'T do it for attention, me get comment hits, but I do it because you never ever know who will be seeing it and that might the only glimpse of GOD or the Bible they see in a day. If my bible passages offend you - I'm sorry but I will not stop posting them. As a Christian I have not saying I am perfect I do not make mistakes, what I am saying is simply this. I love GOD and everything and everyone he has put into my life and the ones he is yet to bring into my life. As a Christian I am not ashamed of who I am or who I will be come. Romans 3:23: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Sinned meaning that I have made mistakes, bad judgement, regrets. But I know in the end of the day GOD loves me none of the less. I know this is not the greatest of notes but I want you all to know that GOD loves you too. GOD forgives you every single day and no matter what happends he is always there beside you. GOD is like the wind, you can not see him but you can feel him all around. You should see GOD in everything from the tinyest of flowers to the birds in the tree. I got an email the other day from someone in the Little Rock network who can view my page she wanted me to pray for her and she told me her situation. Let me tell you this was longer than a one page email. Never knew the girl from Adam but she saw my status messages from the day and the weeks I have started. She said that it gave her hope and she had a feeling from within that told her that she should email me for a prayer request. I am glad to say I been praying for her. I hope if she reads this note she knows that I am indeed doing that. Even though I am going through my own scarifces in my life. I am never ever to busy to stop and pray for someone I know or do not know. "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express" (Romans 8:26). I wish that our nation would turn its choice making, our decesions, our commitments not only towards that of our president but also turn to GOD because in the end he is true LEADER. I will not sit here and stay my opinon as president. That is a totally different subject on a different hand for a different day. I am proud to be an American. I am proud of apple pie, fish fries, four wheelers, and helpping your common man. Alot of today's society is to worried about one thing: money. Money can not buy happiness. Money can not buy you into heaven. Money you can not take to heaven with you. Proverbs 16:8- Better is a little with righteousness than great income with injustice. I would like to challenge each everyone of you who read this note to tell someone, anyone, it can be me or your husband, boyfriend, fiance, dog, cat whatever tell them that you love them. Because let me tell you something folks. You never ever know when will be your last. If I had know my fathers last day was Jan. 25, 2005 I would of stayed home from school to be with him. My dad was a beautiful, warm, loveable man whom I admire and miss every single day. But, I learn daily not only would my father want me to be like him but be stronger. Keep striving for a better tomorrow, do not let one day go without saying I love you to the ones you do. My father believed in PUSHing. For those who do not know what that means. PUSH means simply this... Praying Until Something Happens. God never ever closes a door without opening a window. But, do not stare at that window to long because that window can close at any minute. This verse I am about to share is one of my favorites. John 14:1-3:"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. I am writing this note because well its been on my heart and I believe that it is time. If I was to leave this earth tonight, tomorrow, or tomorrow night I do not want my words left unspoken. I have a family whom I love none of us our perfect if you say oh my family and I do not fight I am sadly to say your probably lying. Every family has disagreements. I have the most wonderful friends I tell them daily how much I love them and that they are family to me. Never Give UP! I am indeed taking my own advice when I say do not worry because believe me folks I am a worry wart. But these past few days GOD has shown me so much in his beautiful word. (Philippians 4:6-8 KJV):(6) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (7) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (8) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things {are} honest, whatsoever things {are} just, whatsoever things {are} pure, whatsoever things {are} lovely, whatsoever things {are} of good report; if {there be} any virtue, and if {there be} any praise, think on these things. GOD showed me that verse the other night when I was reading in my alone time. He showed me that do not just come to GOD with your problem but come to him with everything. Everything meaning anywhere from GOD I do not know what to wear today to LORD, me and my best friend are at each others throats. From the smallest of small to the biggest of big. Have Courage. (Psalm 27:14 KJV) Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. I am gonna sign off on this note I hope you all read this if not it is okay too.
